Meet Our Founding Team
Building the Next Era of Construction
Nvera brings together experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering, technology and business development. Our team shares one objective: to give developers and construction partners a more precise, coordinated and predictable way to build.

Michael Seebeck
Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Michael brings a multidisciplinary business background spanning technology, manufacturing, commercial real estate and land development, built on a family history in residential construction. Over the past decade, he has focused extensively on land development in Canada and the United States, establishing strong relationships throughout the development, construction and investment communities. His experience identifying opportunities, assembling capable teams and aligning strategy, capital and execution informs Nvera’s disciplined approach to growth. As Founder and CEO, Michael sets Nvera’s strategic direction and leads its capitalization, commercialization, organizational development and strategic industry relationships. Michael’s vision is to establish Nvera as a trusted North American building systems partner, helping the construction industry deliver housing with greater speed, predictability and certainty. The company’s growth strategy is centred on expanding its capabilities and geographic reach, consistently building its team, and giving experienced leaders clear operational responsibility and accountability as Nvera scales.

Tom Rus
Director of Building Systems and Technical Solutions
Tom brings direct experience establishing and operating light-gauge steel manufacturing systems for multi-storey residential construction. Before joining Nvera, he co-founded and operated Greenbuilt Steel in Alberta, helping take the business from start-up through sustained commercial production. At Nvera, Tom leads building systems innovation and the development of its production platform, connecting engineering and digital design with factory operations. He also leads technical client development, supporting customers and partners as they evaluate and incorporate Nvera’s systems into their projects. Through Nvera’s Lunch & Learn program, Tom helps developers, architects, engineers and contractors understand how light-gauge steel and Nvera’s integrated capabilities can improve constructability and provide greater certainty around project costs, schedules and delivery.
